Bob Barker wants UVA to change ‘cat procedure’ for medical education
University of Virginia…come on down!
TV icon Bob Barker is not too fond of a training technique used in helping teach residents how to properly insert a breathing tube in premature newborns. In our free weekly enewsletter, Residency Program Connection, see how the master-of-all-things-Plinko believes medical residents are being “shortchanged.” A university spokesperson stated in an article published by nbcwashington.com that using simulators as an alternative to the technique does not provide adequate practice.
