West Virginia University’s (WVU) pediatric residency program coordinator, Jeri L. Whitten, C-TAGME decked out in her Halloween finest!
Whitten says patients love seeing their physicians dressed up, and residents are more than happy to don costumes. “Every year we have Halloween Jeopardy. Teams get points for costumes, we have a pot-luck lunch with lots of candy, and witches brew,” Whitten adds.
I don’t have any pictures of myself dressed up this year, but my mom did send me this picture of me. I was about five or six years old. (Please don’t make fun of my uneven bangs. Apparently, I had gotten my hands on a pair of scissors a few weeks before Halloween and decided to trim them myself.)
