Focusing on Solutions

Our informal motto for the Peminic-Greeley PSO is “Better solutions – not just more data.” That’s important to all of us. Having data is always good – If you are reading this blog you obviously have a strong interest in data. But we have to be careful to not get caught up in data for data’s sake. Our real goal has to be to find effective, realistic solutions for the problems at our facilities based on good data.

A solution that is not supported by some data is just another opinion and data without any action is just extra work. Our goal in the PSO will be to help you balance these two polarities.
When we were designing our PSO approach, we did not want just a ‘data stream’ – we wanted to be actively involved in translating the data stream into good solutions. That’s why we have this blog and the member webinars and audio conferences planned to assist you in getting the most from the PSO data as it starts to develop.

In a way, if we compared the PSO to our personal finances, we wanted this to be more like having an ‘investment expert’ that was assisting you in effectively managing your account rather than just getting a monthly statement.

Of course, as a member of the PSO, there will be quite a bit of data that will be available that you can analyze yourself – but you won’t have to. We will have our PSO experts monitoring the data to send you a ‘flash’ when there is something that we see that might be useful to the PSO members to assist in improving your organization.

Welcome to the Peminic – Greeley PSO Blog

Welcome to the Peminic – Greeley PSO blog. We are all excited at the opening of this new channel to communicate with our clients and assist in the ongoing improvement of our healthcare processes and systems. When Greeley and Peminic joined force to establish a PSO we wanted to bring you the best in both data collection /management and analysis to help drive solutions to improve our facilities. We look forward to sharing our thoughts and hearing your thoughts back on how we can best use this new avenue to make or facilities safer and more effective.
