Adding cleavage to relieve dental patients’ fears

Rinse, spit, and gawk might be the new instructions to patients at a German dental practice that uses an Oktoberfest theme, including low-cut dirndl dresses, to allay anxieties during checkups.

Stressed Out Nurse.com, an HCPro sister website to OSHA Healthcare Advisor, includes a report from the Austrian Times about a dentist who changed her practice’s uniforms to conform to an “Alpine Lounge” setting. Apparently theme dental practices and costumed dental workers are not unheard of in Germany.

Doesn’t this make the frequently asked OSHA compliance hassle with clogs and open-toed shoes in healthcare facilities pale by comparison?

Very sad 🙁 that sex is used in that way and women degraded once more.
