How do you raise awareness on the importance of infection control? Make a music video compilation!

All your old favorites are back: I will Survive, Stop in the Name of Love, Baby Got Back, and more, but this time, infection control jargon is replaced to create That Nurse will Survive, Stop in the Name of Germs, and Baby Got Bacteria, reported Outpatient Surgery.

Staff at Mississippi Surgical Center in Jackson, MS, wanted to utilize the influence of visual media to raise awareness on infection control. They shot a series of music videos pertaining to infectious diseases and how to prevent them, according to Outpatient Surgery.

The music video compilation shows a variety of staff dancing and performing dressed up as bacteria, Mrs. Cleans, and surgical nurses.

The video can be seen here.

Would something like this help raise infection control awareness at your facility? Let us know in our comment section.
