OHA is a’ twitter

Yes, OSHA Healthcare Advisor is twittering.

An increasing number of people are using—make that getting hooked on—the social media network, which allows users to send out quick, 140-character updates on what they’re doing and what they’re interested in.

I have to admit that I am not so interested in what you smeared on your bagel this morning, as I am intent on accessing as many sources of occupational safety and health information for healthcare as I can and sharing it with a minimum of effort.

In short, I like the news to find me, rather than my having to find the news. And despite the true-twitter-believers on one hand, and David Letterman jokes on the other hand, Twitter does a good job of having the news find me and allowing me to pass it on.
