MedicareFind tip: Stay alert by bookmarking your FIND
Staying current with Medicare-related rules and regulations is a challenge. The topics you need to keep track of may involve multiple government agencies, all issuing their own documents at an irregular pace. It’s difficult trying to implement changes in response to new guidance; but how can you make sure you have the newest guidance in the first place?
This is where MedicareFind can help. You can save yourself time and ensure constant awareness of regulatory developments by bookmarking key FINDs in MedicareFind. Let’s look at an example.
Let’s say you’re the RAC point person at your organization. You perform a FIND for “RAC Program” and take a look at some of the available resources. What can you do tomorrow, next week, or next month to stay current with this important topic? First, take your FIND for “RAC Program” and sort it by date rather than relevance; the sort-by-date option is available underneath the text box, at the top of the results. Selecting this enables you to view the most recent documents related to RACs.
Now, bookmark this page in your Web browser, giving it a name that makes sense to you. When next week rolls around and you want to see whether there’s anything new on RACs, simply go to the bookmarked page. MedicareFind will have automatically updated it to include any new documents that were added in the past week. And because MedicareFind pulls in updates from a variety of federal agencies, you don’t have to worry about missing key information.
Start a free trial to MedicareFind and try it out for yourself, with whatever topic you are interested in following. (To stay on top of CMS transmittals, I created a bookmark with the most recent of these documents.) Happy FINDing!
