Nurses have mixed reviews over restraint elimination, but many feel negatively towards it. Interestingly, nurses in other countries, particularly in Europe, rarely use restraints.
Late Sunday night, the House voted to pass a landmark healthcare reform bill, known as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, which was approved by the Senate on Christmas Eve. This bill now proceeds to President Obama to be signed into law.
