Meet the long-term care team
Adrienne Trivers
Adrienne is a managing editor in HCPro’s long-term care market. In this position, she edits books, moderates audio conferences, assists in product development, and edits the monthly newsletter CNA Training Advisor. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and going on road trips with her husband and Mini Schnauzer.
Carol Marshall, MA
Carol Marshall is an adjunct professor for HCPro. As a risk management and regulatory specialist, based in Fort Worth, TX for the past 18 years, she has trained managers and staff members in long-term care facilities about the benefits of exceptional customer service and risk management. Her areas of expertise include risk management, quality assurance, performance improvement, program development and training in long-term and post-acute care settings.
Diane Brown
Diane is a long-term care educator, editor, and author with more than 25 years of operational experience in health care. In her current role at HCPro, she develops quality educational programs and investigates new opportunities for business development. She is a regulatory specialist and the lead instructor for HCPro’s MDS 3.0 Boot Camp and Medicare Boot Camp®—Long-Term Care Version. Her strong leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills communicate possibilities, define innovative solutions, and motivate for outcome. She frequently lectures on MDS, SNF PPS, documentation, survey compliance, Medicare, and other health care topics.
Ellen J. Mullins, RN, BSN, CRNAC, MAS
Ellen is an independent consultant with 33 years of experience in healthcare. She has held positions as MDS Coordinator, state surveyor, the State RAI Coordinator and OASIS Education Coordinator for the State of Alabama. She is an acknowledged contributor of the CMS’ Long Term Care Resident Assessment Instrument and Manual, version 2.0.
Frosini Rubertino, RN, CRNAC, C-NE, CDONA/LTC
Frosini is a registered nurse with over 30 years of experience in the health care industry. Former president of an Ohio-based long-term care consulting and education firm, and a former member of the Arkansas Healthcare Association’s Education Committee, she is currently a clinical services consultant with an Arkansas-based clinical consultant group. As an HCPro faculty member, she brings her experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, clinical systems, and education into the classroom for the Medicare Boot Camp® – Long Term Care Version course.
Justin Veiga
Justin is an editor in the long-term care market. He manages MDSCentral, edits books, moderates audio conferences, and writes the monthly newsletter PPS Alert for Long-Term Care and the MDS 3.0 Update e-newsletter. A lifelong Boston sports fan and former sportswriter, Justin lives in Massachusetts and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Joel VanEaton, BSN, RN, RAC-CT, CPRA
Joel has over 11 years experience in long-term Care, serving initially as MDS coordinator and currently as the reimbursement and RAI clinician, client services nurse consultant to 12 facilities in Tennessee and Kentucky. For the past two years, Joel has partnered with the Georgia Health Care Association providing a series of seminars and webinars on MDS 3.0 and RUG-IV. As the reimbursement, MDS 3.0, and RUG-IV resource and education coordinator for Extended Care Products, Inc., he is a regular contributor to the Extended Care Products’ LTC Professional newsletter and also contributes to HCPro’s PPS Alert newsletter.
