New fall seminars about life safety and emergency management
We’re happy to announce two brand new professional development seminars that will focus on the hot topics of Life Safety Code compliance and emergency managment:
- Life Safety Code Solutions for Hospitals: Essential Strategies to Achieve Compliance takes place September 24-25 in Boston. This program will discuss hard-hitting fire protection topics in the 2000 edition of the Life Safety Code and how surveyors review these areas. Leading the seminar will be experts Brad Keyes, CHSP, and James Murphy, RA, NCARB.
- The Emergency Management Coordinator’s Workshop: Joint Commission Compliance and Beyond takes place October 26 in Atlanta. Attendees will learn how to bridge the gap between theory and real-life application by diving deep into The Joint Commission’s emergency management chapter and related requirements. Speakers include Joseph Cappiello, James Kendig, MS, CHSP, CHCM, HEM, LHRM, and Mary Russell, EdD, MSN.
Full agendas and faculty bios are available at the links above. We look forward to seeing you soon in Boston or Atlanta. Feel free to e-mail me at swallask@hcpro.com if you have questions about either show.
