Earlier this week, The Joint Commission updated its FAQ about on computers-on-wheels in corridors.
The last bit in the FAQ about the batteries seems much more informative. I guess my advice would be for folks to check on the batteries of their computers-on-wheels and charging systems to validate that everything is as it should be.

This FAQ appears to contradict itself. The next to the last sentence states that COW batteries “…are to be the sealed lead-acid type…” while the last sentence lists types of batteries other than lead-acid and specifies charging system attributes for these other types.
