Listen now to a preview of HCPro’s upcoming audio conference, “Infection Control During Construction and Renovation”

February 25 audio conferenceHi everyone, it’s Scott Wallask logging on today. One of the cool features of this redesigned blog is the ability to post audio clips, and I’ve found the perfect reason to do so:

HCPro is holding an audio conference on February 25 at 1 p.m. Eastern called “Infection Control During Construction and Renovation.” I don’t have to tell you the importance of IC concerns during various work projects in the building, so to me this audio conference hits upon a timely and important topic.

My colleague Joanne Finnegan conducted a three-minute interview with one of the audio conference’s speakers, Tom Huser, MS, CHSP, a safety coordinator with Clarian Health in Indianapolis. In the attached clip, Tom discusses how even a small project, such as popping a ceiling tile, can have severe ramifications for certain patients when IC measures aren’t followed.
