Red Flags Rule enforcement delayed to June 2010

The FTC’s identity theft enforcement deadline has been pushed back a fourth time.

    Given that this is the fourth time the enforcement date has been pushed back, perhaps the powers to be should see this as a “Red Flag” with respect to the enforcement of these rules and take a harder look to see some of the questions and challenges these rules present.

    It says Congress is the entity that asked for this latest delay. Assuming it’s because of the bill the House passed to eliminate healthcare facilities with less than 20 employees from complying with Red Flags?
