Education and fun rolled into one

We know there are limited educational resources out there for accreditation professionals to swap best-practices and network with their peers. And that’s why we could not be more excited about this year’s AHAP conference, coming up in just a few months.

The 6th Annual AHAP Conference, to be held May 10-11, 2012 at the Hilton at Walt Disney World® Resort in Lake Buena Vista (Orlando), FL, is a multi-source, educational experience that will provide accreditation professionals and survey coordinators with the following resources:

  • Top Joint Commission findings for 2011 and regulatory changes for 2012
  • Leading experts in Life Safety,  Data Management, and Suicide Risk Assessment compliance
  • Opportunities to talk with representatives from The Joint Commission, DNV, and HFAP
  • Peer networking opportunities
  • Eleven hours of continuing education for ANCC, CSHA, and NAHQ credits
  • And much more!

You can view the complete agenda, learning objectives, and registration details here.

If you’re interested in presenting a poster at this year’s conference, please download our poster application form, complete it, and e-mail it to AHAP Associate Director Jaclyn Beck at Accepted poster presenters will receive a 50% discount off the price of conference admission. We are interested in innovative strategies that have been implemented in hospitals to improve survey-readiness, staff involvement, and patient and staff safety.

Will we see you there? Leave your comments here.
